4-H ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

  • Up to 8 photos and/or documents need to be uploaded as required or needed
  • Take the photo in a well-lit area. Try to reduce as many shadows and glares as possible.
  • Be sure the entire display is visible in the photo.
  • Try to use a solid background when possible.
  • Other entries can be made in Educational Displays (Posters).

Lot:

Class: 265 Outdoor Adventures

Lot:

  1. Any item or display related to living in the outdoors (camping, hiking etc.)

Points allowed: Blue 10; Red 8; White 6

Class: 270 Science Discovery

Lot:

  1. Any item or display related to rocks and minerals
  2. Any item or display related to the 3R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle
  3. Any item or display related to oceanography
  4. Any item or display related to weather or climate
  5. Any item or display related to spiders and insects
  6. Any item or display related to astronomy or outer space
  7. Any item or display related to bird watching

Points allowed: Blue 10; Red 8; White 6

Class: 272 Wind Energy

Lot:

  1. Any item or display made by the member in the wind energy project.

Points allowed: Blue 10; Red 8; White 6

Class: 280 Sport Fishing- Any item or display from the Sport Fishing Project.

Lot:

  1. Any item or display from the Sport Fishing Project.

Points allowed: Blue 10; Red 8; White 6

Class: 282 Reptiles and Amphibians

Lot:

  1. Any item or display made by the member in the Reptile and Amphibian project. (No live animals in this class - live animals may be included in the 4-H in Action activity.)

Points allowed: Blue 10; Red 8; White 6

Class: 285 Pets

Lot:

1. Any item or display made by the member in the Pets project. (No live animals in this class - live animals may be shown in the new Pets Department housed in the Rabbit Barn.

(1) Can be a display designed to educate the public about some aspect of the Discovery Project. (Air, Energy, Forestry, Marine Life, Soil, Water, Wildlife)

(2) And/or a project made by the exhibitor. Photos should include one of the entire project, and as many photos as needed to show close ups of the project.

(3) Please include a short description of what the project is, the exhibitor’s age and how many years in the project in the description box when entering.

Class 265

Outdoor

Adventures

Project and/or Informational Display

(1) Can be a display designed to educate the public about some aspect of the Outdoor Adventures project

(2) And/or a project made by the exhibitor. Photos should include one of the entire poject, and as many photos as needed to show close ups of the project.

(3) Please include a short description of what the project is, the exhibitor’s age and how many years in the project in the description box when entering.

Class 270

Science

Discovery

Project and/or Informational Display

(1) Can be a display designed to educate the public about some aspect of the Science Discovery project (geology, 3R’s, oceanography, bird watching, weather or climate, spiders and insects, astronomy)

(2) And/or a project made by the exhibitor. Photos should include one of the entire project, and as many photos as needed to show close ups of the project.

(3) Please include a short description of what the project is, the exhibitor’s age and how many years in the project in the description box when entering.

Class 272

Wind Energy

Project and/or Informational Display

(1) Can be a display designed to educate the public about some aspect of the Wind Energy project.

(2) And/or a project made by the exhibitor. Photos should include one of the entire project, and as many photos as needed to show close ups of the project.

(3) Please include a short description of what the project is, the exhibitor’s age and how many years in the project in the description box when entering.

Sport Fishing

Project and/or Informational Display
