General Rules

  • Registration required July 24, 2020 online at: https://piercecountyfair.fairentry.com
  • Level for members will be determined by age, using the 4-H age groups: Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Cloverbuds are not eligible.
  • Open to 4-H members who are enrolled in the Washington 4-H Shooting Sports project
  • Other entries can be made in Educational Displays (Posters) and Judging.

Tips for photographing your entry:

  • Take the photo in a well-lit area.
  • Try to reduce as many shadows and glares as possible.
  • Be sure the entire display is visible in the photo.
  • Take a second photo to show the exhibit’s back side or underneath.

Pieces of archery equipment

Equipment made by the member (maximum of three different types per exhibitor). Must be made during 4-H year. May be used by the member during the year.

Shooting Sports Judging Contest

Judging will be done on August 2nd, 1 PM until 4 PM

Register for your age group. On August 2nd at 1 pm, an email will be sent out to all registered participants with a link to the judging slide show and your score card. The link will only be active until 4 pm. All score cards must be submitted by 4:30 pm to the judge. Judge will be available for questions via email from 1pm to 4pm on August 2nd. There will be no oral reasons, just written reasons.

Shooting Sports Knowledge bowl

At a specified time, the exhibitor will participate in the Shooting sports Bowl online using Zoom and an online quiz platform and/or A link will be sent out. You can do it without zoom.

Questions will be displayed on their computer screen using Zoom, and exhibitors will use a smartphone with the app "Kahoot" to participate in the Shooting sports Bowl.
