Rule 31: Pierce County Fair Premium Check Policy
A. Premium checks will not be considered “abandoned” property under R.C.W. 63.29, but will be considered a donation by the payee to the Pierce County Fair. 2012 premium account checks will NOT be issued or re-issued after December 31, 2012. 2012 premium account checks will NOT be issued or re-issued after December 31, 2012 B. Please cash checks as soon as possible; checks are void after 90 days C. Department Superintendents who have determined that an exhibitor is to be disciplined for infractions of the Pierce County Fair Rules by either dismissal, loss of premium points, loss of ribbons, or loss of awards must complete form PCFR 101 no later than by 9 p.m. on the last day of Fair. D. Questions about premiums may be directed towards the fair bookkeeper, Elizabeth Walters, at pcfbookkeeper@live.com.
Rule 32: Open Class and FFA Premium Checks
A. Premium money for Open class exhibitors may be paid as noted in each area. B. Premium money may be paid to those FFA members who are enrolled in the FFA organizational programs in Pierce County. C. Open Class and FFA premium checks will be mailed to the address on the exhibitor’s entry form(s) beginning the first week in October. D. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to make sure their address is correct.
Rule 33: 4-H Premium Checks
A. If a 4-H member enters in 4-H and Open Class, they will be issued one check. B. 4-H premium checks may be picked up at the Pierce County 4-H Achievement Night or; C. You may supply a self addressed stamped envelope to the fair office no later than the close of the fair on Sunday night or; D. You may mail a self addressed stamped envelope to the fair bookkeeper at:
