Equine Events Fill the Arena
So many horses… The Pierce County 4-H Horse Project keeps growing. Over a 5 day period, 176 4-H members will be putting their skills to the test in hopes of qualifying for State Fair competition.

On Saturday August 9, several favorite Equine Drill Teams return to the arena including the famed Tacoma Lariettes.

Participate in the LUMBERMENS STAMP STATION KID SEARCH. Located throughout the grounds, there are stamp stations. Pick up a card at the Fair Information Booth and collect the stamps. Return to the Information Booth and collect a prize. Sponsored by Lumbermens, your headquarters for home care.

TODDLER CITY
Children ages one to five will have fun while learning traffic safety at Toddler City.
Toddler City is a free interactive family event where toddlers will learn the rules of the road, learning how to make turns, back up, and even parallel park while “driving” through the country.

Funtastic Shows once again brings thrills, chills and games of chance to the fairway. To ensure a good time, follow these tips:
First, pick a ride, game, or area where you can meet if you become lost or separated.
Height restrictions apply on all rides and all riders must be 2 years or older.
Check your own restraints! Make sure your seatbelt is buckled and lap bar or shoulder restraint fits properly.
Always wait until the ride operator has brought the ride to a complete stop and you are instructed to exit before leaving the vehicle.
Please respect all posted and verbal instructions before and during the ride.
Immediately report any unsafe conditions to the midway customer service office.
We recommend that you wear lace up shoes. Some rides restrict sandal or open-toed shoes.
Watch the ride's action while in operation then decide whether you or your children should go on the ride.
Stay seated and keep your feet and hands inside the vehicle at all times.
